Dino Martens Murano White Red Aventurine Ribbons Italian Art Glass Center Bowl
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown white, red and copper aventurine Italian art glass centerpiece footed bowl. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1950s. Similars are published in his book (see last photo). Looks to be a variation of Model 5387. The bowl has a zig zag pattern, and curled ends. It sits on a clear glass base. Can be used as a display piece on any table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. Mid-century era. A collectors piece! Measures 11" long x 5 3/4" wide x 3 3/4" tall.
