Japanese Antique Wooden Bowl / 1868-1910 / Wabi-Sabi Antique Tools

About the Item

A wooden bowl made around the Meiji and Taisho eras (1868-1910) in Japan. It weighs 2.2 kg. Wood is a wood called "sen" in Japanese, which has a grain similar to zelkova. In English it is called castor aralia. The wood grain is fine and very beautiful. How about as a decoration in your room? In Japan, such things are becoming less and less common. We believe that it is our mission to convey the charm of such old things and keep them.
