About the Item

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown orange, controlled bubbles and gold flecks Italian art glass flower basket / vase. The piece is documented to designer Alfredo Barbini and published in his catalog, circa 1950-1960. There are 2 handles pulled up to the center, curled and holding a gold flecked ball. The entire piece is profusely covered in gold leaf, that clings to each bubble. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, desk or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, or fill it with flowers. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 6 3/4" tall x 6 1/4" long x 4" wide.
