Oversized Antique English Threaded Glass & Sterling Silver Match Strike, 1917

About the Item

A magnificent oversized English match striker wither a sterling silver mount fully hallmarked for London 1917 (the makers mark is rubbed). Its an impressive and rarely found size measuring approximately 5 1/2" in diameter x 5" tall; I have filled it with matches just shy of 4" long (these cannot be shipped with the piece). Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. A magnificent specimen! Item: 43016.
