Pair of Small Burmese Lacquer Offering Vessels, "Hsun Ok", c. 1900

About the Item

This pair of Lacquered Offering Vessels are know in Myanmar as "Hsun Ok". These vessels were once used to carry food and offerings to and from the monastery. They resemble Stupas which are found atop Buddhist temples. The Vessels feature a red & black lacquer finish.
