  • Pair of Modern Rectangular Table Lamps with Abstract Decoration and Offset Feet
    Located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL
These artful table lamps feature a main rectangular body of heavy wood with black lacquered background and abstract ivory colored fragments. Each lamp is slightly different reflecting the artist behind the brushstrokes. A base of black lacquered steel rests on offset Japanese inspired feet. The flat top of the main body is similarly painted being the base for a light arm column carrying two sockets and the lampshade pole. Black lacquered rectangular finials complete the composition. The lamps are sold without the shades for ease of shipping. I have chosen traditional empire shape shades letting the straight and the circular lines compliment each other, but rectangular shades may also be a good choice. The measurements below are for the lamps without shades and finials.

They pooled their work from 1980 to dedicate themselves to the creation of pieces of furniture and interior decoration. They start with the decoration of the Palace that Fabrice Eamer asks them to design. Then shortly after, the Néotu Gallery publishes them. Their furniture, baroque and barbarian, surprises, made up of heterogeneous and unusual materials, such as rock, hammered bronze, raffia, leather, skin, logs and glass ... They are at the instigation of fashion "barbaric". For their work, they use references such as the Middle Ages, Africa, through the poetry of Cocteau, the Venetian baroque and neoclassicism. They have also been edited by the “Waiting for the Barbarians” galleries, David Gill, Kréo, Lou Fagotin...
