Chinese Dragon Porcelain Bowl

About the Item

This exquisite handpainted porcelain dish hails from Japan, dating back to the Meiji period (1868-1912). The dish features a petite design with wavy, contoured edges against a light gray background. Adorned with a stunning motif of four flying cranes amidst a field of grasses and red flowers, the dish also displays a wavy border on the outer edge, embellished with a black band and stylized half-flowers that resemble chrysanthemums. Underneath the bowl, you will find a painted Japanese signature, adding a touch of authenticity to this beautiful piece.
