Table box concave corners enamel sterling silver Salimbeni

About the Item

Rectangular table box with concave corners in 925/1000 sterling silver with translucent fired enamel on guilloché, also on the sides and fine hand engravings in baroque style. With lost hinge, i.e. semi-invisible. Finishing with hand-engraved borders. Dimensions cm. 10.3 x 15.5 high cm. 2.5. Weight gr. 529. Designed by Renato Salimbeni in 1958 inspired by models previously made by the Salimbeni Company and manufactured in Florence at the Salimbeni Company headquarters with completely manual execution by artisan artists with a high thickness plate and large reinforcements suitable for supporting numerous high-fire enamel firings at approximately 750° < 800° C.
