Antique American Gilt & Inset Glass Decorative Dresser Box or Vide Poche

About the Item

This antique decorative box was made by the Apollo Manufacturing Company of the United States in approximately 1920 in an Anglo-Indian style. The top of the box is composed of spelter with a gilt finish and inset colored glass cabachons. The bottom of the box is done in amber glass and has several compartments molded into it. The box is clearly signed with a maker's signature for the Apollo company on the undeside of the top.
