Vintage confectionary tin with theme: Antique clocks and watches, antique timepieces
This 1950s tin box is a great decorative box or storage box with beautiful design on the lid of antique timepieces like pendulum clock, antique pocket watch, antique clock, sundial, mantle clock, antique hourglass all on a green background with Roman numbers all around. Do view also the monkey on the pendulum clock!
The sides are in the color beige with designs of angel playing whistle next to a tree with birds, a girl picking flowers, another angel eating grapes and a boy running behind birds.
This rectangular tin is in beautiful condition with some minor traces of age.
It was designed for the biscuit and confectionary brand Demaret Belgium.
