Antique French Solid Oak Wine Box

About the Item

Stunning solid french/ 1 inch thick wooden planks oak wine box decorated with gold gilded bronze handles on both sides and on the lid with a Royal Fleur-de-lis symbol, - an emblem resembling an iris flower and historically associated with France. The box originated from a private wine cellar of an antique Chateau in Quebec region (France). Masterfully polished and assembled this wine box is not only a perfect storage for any wine bottles as oak wood is traditionally used to produce wine barrels, but also an exceptional one-of-a-kind decoration idea. This oak wine box comes together with an antique wood corkscrew and a collection of 5 vintage wine bottles from the region of Rhone and Luberon. All the bottles have been made in the last few decades. We can not guarantee the condition of the wine despite being stored in a wine cellar for 30-40 but the bottles are extremely decorative and historically interesting.
