A superb example of a mid century heavy gauge Guilloche and enameled Sterling Silver Gilt hinged lidded Card Case of outstanding quality and condition for such an early silver item.
The rectangular cover enameled in colours of red and greens depicting a spary of roses on a sunray design background.
Mark of H C D for Birmingham Silversmiths Henry Clifford Davis.
Birmingham Hallmark for 1961.
Condition: Superb condition with no losses or repairs anywhere, good crisp easy to read hallmarks, closes firmly, gilt interior is perfect.
