Early 20th Century John Buchanan & Bros Wall Hanging Biscuit, Knife Tin Glasgow

About the Item

Early 20th century John Buchanan & Bros, Makers of Confections, Chocolate, Jams, and Peels Marmalades rare wall hanging tin. John Buchanan & Bros was founded in 1858 by John and his two brothers Andrew and Alexander, early success brought need for a larger premises and in 1869 the firm moved to a larger new factory on Stewart Street, Cowcaddens, Glasgow's A rare tin with a roman bust charrette and sailing ship very unusual and is also a wall hanger. Overall its in good condition but it does have scratches on the front and sides shown in the photos. This is from a private collector who traveled the world buying beautiful and unusual pieces.
