- Rare George III Sheraton period Spoon Box c.1780Located in Bath, GBIn many, many years of dealing in antique boxes, I have never come across a Sheraton spoon box such as this. Similar to larger Knife Boxes, this is the same shape but in a smaller scale and the interior fitted purely for teaspoons. Veneered in Mahogany the shaped sloped lid is inlaid with an Ebony and Boxwood star, repeated on the interior of the lid. The fully fitted interior is also inlaid with Ebony and Boxwood stringing.
