About the Item
A great looking box, Italian in origin made from 800 silver wrapped around a wooden interior.
Both the base and lid are hallmarked "800" together with an additional mark "833 F1".
The hinged lid opens to reveal a handsome wooden interior, perfect for using as a desk, jewellery or cigar box.
Dating to c.1960 and in superb condition, measuring 7 3/4" x 4 1/8" x 1 5/8".
