About the Item
Attractive needlepoint box on stand with burgundy velvet sides which comes from a Dorothy Draper designed interior in Purchase NY. Box is lined in cream brocade and velvet is nicely weathered. Brass ball feet and finial on box.
Decorative accent piece and quite practical alongside a chair for storage.
French influenced pattern on the hand needlepoint design, 1940s.
