About the Item

Beautiful and elegant, vintage Murano hand blown gold flecks Italian art glass vanity jewelry or powder box. The piece is attributed to designer Archimede Seguso. The entire piece is clear glass, but it is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout. The lidded jar, or box, has a pronounced ribbed surface design with flower shape topper. The piece is very large and heavy. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee table or credenza. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or to safeguard yours jewelry pieces. Mid-century era. Measures: 7 1/4" across x 5 1/4" high.
