    A wonderful 20th Century David Andersen Silver & Guilloche Enamel box with Lid Circa 1960. A beautiful object in excellent condition. The translucent green enamel is of the highest quality and the lid flawlessly sits in position to give overall perfection. The finish inside the box is immaculate and creates a great contrast with the green exterior. This piece would make a wonderful statement in most interior settings. Full Makers Marks to base displaying, David Andersen 925 S. Dimensions; H 4 1/2” W 3” About the maker; David Andersen was a Norwegian Goldsmith. He was born in Østre Toten in 1843 and from 1859 he was in apprenticeship with the jeweller Jacob Tostrup in Christiania (now called Oslo).
