Georgian Ribbed Bucket Tea Caddy
About the Item
Rare and unusual George III tea caddy in the form of a ribbed bucket.
The tea caddy of beautiful shape with a ribbed exterior carved from alternating panels of plain Sycamore and Ebonised Sycamore. The looping swing handle of the caddy manufactured from cut steel with an embroidered centrepiece to the lid. To the interior traces of the original lining can be seen to protect the tea within.
The Caddy comes complete with working lock and key.
