Large Scale Napoleon III Electrified Candelabra
About the Item
A very large scale pair of gilded and patinated bronze candelabra in the late French Restauration / Napoleon III style. The tapered central shaft decorated on the top and bottom in gilded bronze sits on a tri-form patinated and gilded bronze base terminating in large gilded lion's paw feet. There are six 'S' shaped scrolling arms around a central electrified candle nozzle in the middle. French late 19th century.
