Pair Of French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu Candelabras
About the Item
An elegant and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu candelabras. Each two arm candelabra is raised by a circular mottled base with fine beaded and twisted ribbon wrap around bands below lovely spiral fluted designs. At the center is a staff with the eternal flame flanked by impressive scrolled foliate movements at each side draped with richly chased swaging berried laurel garlands and leading to lovely circular bobeches with foliate design and fluted candle cups in a wonderful satin and burnished finish.
