Pair of Louis XVI Gilt Bronze and White Marble Five-Arm Candelabra
About the Item
The white marble bodies of the candelabra are urn shaped and sit on circular stepped marble bases on gilt ball feet. On either side of the urns are stylized eagle head 'handles' which are joined along the wasted body of the urn with finely chased garlands. Four candle arms and a central stem are shaped as flower stems and are decorated with leaves, buds, and flowers.
