About the Item

An elegant pair of French mid-20th century silver candelabras, finely executed in the Neoclassical tradition with graceful proportions and richly modeled decorative details. Each candelabrum is centered by a raised candle cup flanked by two sweeping arms, creating a balanced three-light composition. The curved branches are embellished with sculpted foliate and floral motifs, while additional leaf ornament appears beneath the candle dishes and around the central standard. The tall, tapering stems are articulated with multiple molded collars and decorative bands, terminating in substantial stepped circular bases enriched with raised floral and scroll decoration.
