candle sconces.
Hand-crafted in France, most likely Parisian work, circa 1870s, exceptionally executed sculptural form, very high quality, extremely impressive statement pieces

Beautifully aged distressed patina, both examples are in good condition, with typical rubbing, wear and oxidation to the gilt surfaces, and some losses and wear to the gesso.
