Pair of Mid-19th Century Wrought Iron Torcheres Candlesticks
About the Item
Pair of mid-19th century wrought iron torcheres ~ candlesticks were fashioned from red-hot iron by a talented blacksmith, and feature a nice height with twisted shaft and tripod base for stability even on slightly uneven surfaces. At the middle appear rosettes surrounded by a rounded iron framework with flourishes above and below. Excellent for use indoors or outdoors,
circa 1850s.
Each measures 35 height x 10 in diameter.
