About the Item
A stunning & superbly cast 19th century parcel gilt candelabrum in the Rococo taste, showing a sculptural central column of entwined bronze & parcel gilt bronze, rising from a pierced rocaille gilt bronze base to three foliate cast branches fitted with gilded nozzles & bobeches, centred by a central nozzle. An exceptional example with each of the aforementioned elements being individually cast, gilded and assembled.
