18th Century Painted and Gilt Candlestick from Tuscany with Acanthus Leaves

About the Item

An 18th century painted and gilded candlestick from Tuscany, with fluted motifs and acanthus leaves. Created in central Italy during the 18th century, this Tuscan candlestick features a painted fluted column accented with gilt acanthus leaves, resting on a base with a carved rosette on aquamarine ground in the front complimenting the ensemble beautifully. Raised on three lion paw feet, this 18th century painted and gilt candlestick from Tuscany will bring a graceful presence to any home, perhaps placed atop a commode, buffet or side table.
