19th century Charles 'X' French Gilt and Patinated Bronze Candlestick, Pair

About the Item

Features include superb detail with gold gilding and bronze patination. They are intricately sculpted with fanciful designs, acanthus leaves and grape clusters with three claw feet resting on a tri-shaped plinth. There have been facsimiles of this design made but these are not reproductions, they are heavy bronze with incredible detail and have a lovely old patina. Original bobeche. See measurements below.
