Gouda Hand Painted Candlestick
About the Item
This hand painted Gouda candlestick is decorated with the Kabor pattern which consists of a colourful array of flowers emerging from a deep blue base, all on a rich, creamy ground. It stands 220 mm (8.75 inches) high and has a diameter at the base of 96 mm (3 3/8ths inches). It does have some very minor crazing, otherwise it is in very good condition. It would date from the late 1940's or the very early 1950's.
