Pair of 19th Century Italian Carved and Grey Painted Figure Candlesticks
About the Item
Decorate a console, buffet or mantel with this pair of elegant antique candle holders. Crafted in Italy circa 1880, and built of solid oak, the candlesticks stand on a square base decorated with acanthus leaf motifs. Each neoclassical figure depicts a Roman female holding a torch ending with a wax candle. The tall candle lights are in excellent condition with a rich light grey patinated painted finish and wonderful original distress.
