This coffee table is absolutely gorgeous. Consisting of two circular bases, clad in brass with a free form / biomorphic black tinted glass top, this coffee table is jaw droppingly gorgeous. This gorgeous walnut 2 piece chest on chest was designed by Helen & Hobey Baker in the 1950's. This piece has all the fun aspects of a true bold mid century modern piece -- clean, angular swooping lines that give the piece an almost googie look that is unmistakably mid century modern.
