A Pair of Solid Brass Footed Candlesticks with Square Bases, Russia, 19th c.

About the Item

Exceptional fine pair of solid brass Russian candlesticks. The candleholder is in a flared vase form, while the base is banded, square and footed. If you turn the candlesticks around you can see the massive turned screws for disassembly and cleaning. Polished by hand in our workshop. (We go through the laborious task of hand polishing because it does not remove all the patina that machine polishing will remove.)
