Suite of Four Tall Neoclassical-Style Sterling Silver Candlesticks
About the Item
Suite of four, tall, sterling silver, Neoclassical-style candlesticks, Whiting Manufacturing Co., Providence, Rhode Island, year-hallmarked for 1923. Weighted. Each measures: 10 inches high x over 3 3/4 inches diameter across base. Design motif on edge of base of each candlestick is repeated on bottom of the column of each candlestick and under each bobeche (candle cup). There are some minor dints (see photos) that are commensurate with age and use. Dark areas on sterling silver photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
