Fine Antique George III Inlaid Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock

About the Item

Fine antique George III inlaid mahogany eight day longcase clock having a shaped swan neck pediment above an arched glass and mahogany door flanked by reeded columns, satinwood inlaid frieze above a quality figured inlaid mahogany door flanked by reeded corners above a figured inlaid mahogany base raised on unusual original carved mahogany shaped bracket feet, quality painted arched shaped dial with a ship to the top, date and minute hand, eight day movement striking on the hour and half hour on a bell. A very handsome example in good working order. Measures: H 206cm W 51cm D 24cm Date 1800.
