Swedish Mora Clock Pale Blue Early 1800s Antique Slim Body

About the Item

Decorative early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock with decorative style and detail blue and deep blue accents later paint. Measures: 215cm. This original 1800s mora clock has a beautiful face with a clean patina and excellent numbering and some distressing The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age. the clock is sold 'as is' : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order - If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£195) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£295) The mech change takes approximate 2-3 weeks.

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. Clock is structurally sound and features the typical paint distressing and wood movement common to this age of mora clock. it will be checked over by our restorer prior to shipping for stability.
