Spectacular Large Art Deco Walnut & Chrome Mantle Clock, c1930

For your consideration is this very stylish 1930's Art Deco very rare and impressive, long walnut cased, Art Deco mantel clock, powered by a quartz battery having been converted. The clock has a typical Art Deco design with a rare rectangular shaped case. The case is a warm conker brown colour tone with fabulous figured veneers. This a large clock that will enhance any room. Perfect mantle areas or sideboards. This clock defiantly won't disappoint. Originally it came from the South African offices of J. Stern the south African banking company. The dial without doubt is the hero of this piece with a stepped square chrome bezel with copper/gold tone Art Deco stylised numerals. This with the already attractive walnut casing really makes this an attractive time piece. We are more than sure the new owner of this clock will be delighted with it.
