French Ormolu Mantel Clock with Champleve Decoration by Japy Freres

French gilt ormolu mantle clock with beautiful champlevé decoration with turned pilasters, architectural pediment with four turned finials. Gilded chapter ring with Roman numerals. Eight day French movement signed ‘Japy Freres’ striking the hours and halves on a coiled gong, circa 1870.
