About the Item
Elaborate and fine quality workmanship clock from the late 1800s.
If you have never had the pleasure of owning a beautiful antique clock then this fine specimen could be perfect for you. This hand-crafted work of beauty from late 19th century France will look marvelous on your mantle piece or sidetable. The elaborate design with its claw feet, the bronze lion masks, the female mask on the front, the accanthus leafs and the neoclassical vase on top makes this an extraordinary work of time telling art. One that will never fail to impress. Have you, for example, also noticed the perfect condition and stylish, enameled cartouches with the black roman numerals. With the black metal arms against the golden colored dial face background they make time telling easy from a distance as well. In image number five you can also see that the front door comes with a beveled glass insert that makes this clock just that extra bit more upscale. This grand and decorative clock comes with the original key for winding both the clock and striking mechanism and both still work perfectly.
All of the above make this antique clock great value for money. Especially when taken into account that perfect packing and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days are complimentary!
