18th Century Lacquer Chinoiserie Tavern Clock

About

18th century tavern clock. The 8 day replacement movement keeps very good time, the case has been restored including some redecoration. The white painted oak dial with inner Roman numerals and outer Arabic numbers with very fine pierced later brass hands. All decorated with well-drawn chinoiserie on a black ground with oriental figures. The sides are filled with decorated sprays of chrysanthemum. Measures: 112 cm high x 53 cm wide.
