Fine Quality Regency Wheel Barometer A. Gatty
About the Item
A fine quality, Regency mahogany wheel barometer, the mahogany veneered case with architectural pediment above dentil banding, cross banded edge with triple edge line stringing, inlaid floral paterea and oak and acorn ovals, the 8” dial well engraved Anthony Gatty, Royal Oak, Fisher Row, Reading and well engraved thermometer scale with spirit thermometer. This barometer is in fantastic original condition ready to place at home.
Anthony Gatty is recorded was working at this address from 1810-40
