Antique English Double Inkwell Desk Set
About the Item
Early 20th century English desk set made of a carved oak platform with a black lacquer surface embellished with silver plate details. Form fitting inserts hold a pair of square crystal inkwells with silver plated hinged tops. The desk is enclosed on the back by a decorative gallery and a recessed pen holder of oak is on the front side. A shield shaped plaque is engraved with initials and dated 1910. The desk set is felted underneath.
