English Regency Mahogany Travelling Lap Desk Box with Secret Compartment
About the Item
Large size English Regency mahogany travelling sloped lap desk/ box with original brass corner mounts, hinges, pin, top mount and retractable handles. Features include a side drawer, a felt writing surface, a leather portfolio and an interior secret compartment containing two drawers (see last image.)
Initials WW on the top brass plate. Two glass ink wells.
