Original Edison Stock Ticker Tape Machine

About

In thirty years of business, this is the first ticker tape machine we have ever possessed! Invented by Thomas Edison in the 1870's, the machine dispensed a paper "ticker tape", which would give the latest readings from Wall Street. The machines are incredibly rare and desirable today, and rarely appear in the marketplace for sale. Ours is a very fine original example, and complete with all parts and glass dome. The brass label was added after the 1950's, and shows patina of age. We have not done anything to the label, but it could easily polished, if desired. The case is painted cast iron or steel, and the ticker has a great, solid weight to it. This is the ultimate statement and homage to the financial world we live in!
