Chinese Export Lac Burgaute Inlaid Silver, Gold & Abalone Frame with Carved Jade

About the Item

Chinese export lac burgaute picture frame inlaid with silver and 24-karat gold elements as well as abalone and an antique white jade stone as crowning centerpiece. Created in China during the 1880's, the piece is in remarkable antique condition with age-appropriate wear and use and a few minor losses to the lacquer on the side border.
