Beautiful French giltwood and gesso picture frame or mirror frame, late 19th century.
This spectacular antique frame features a fluted border, decorated with flowers and leaves on the outer edge.
Dimensions: Height 54.5 cm / 21.46 in, width 50.5 cm / 19.88 in, depth 6.5 cm / 2.56 in.
Interior dimensions: 32 cm / 12.6 in x 28 cm / 11.02 in.
The frame displays beautifully in antique condition with wear commensurate with age. Some small and thin missing pieces along the edge.
