Fused Art Glass Microwave Oven by Samsung and Orfeo Quagliata
About the Item
Elegance, fusion, movement and contrast were the concepts that were used in the intervention for the Black Stainless line of appliances. Highlighting the attributes that Samsung offers in these products was the main objective when starting to develop ideas for Orfeo's intervention. This line is characterized by its subtlety and technology, in this way the result of this union were four pieces perfectly complemented with elements made to highlight these characteristics and are tailored so that both the product and the glass are stars in the collaboration. With the appropriate colors and textures, we sought to play with techniques developed in the factory to formulate a coherence with the design of household appliances. Highlighting the main material, black stainless steel, the pieces of this collection play with movement, volume and visual depth.
The microwave intervention is inspired by heat and its electromagnetic waves, based on a set of waves on a plane generating movement. These shapes are complemented by sober shades that convey elegance and presence.
This piece is completely functional for everyday kitchen activities.
