Unique piece. Date of creation: 1985.
Japanese artist.
She stayed in Paris for 17 years from 1977.
She realizes the sculptures but also painting and mosaic, sometimes integrated into the architecture. One of the most famous works is "The Eye of Shinjuku", created in 1970. It’s a glass sculpture that can be admired in the West Exit of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. The central part of the eye Shinjuku is rotating behind corrugated glass wall. The eye observes the hurried passers.
His work is close to surrealism.
