Dancer Vase by Eguzkiñe Egaña
Located in Geneve, CH
Dancer vase by Eguzkiñe Egaña Unique Piece. Dimensions: W 15 x D 15 x H 22.5 cm. Materials: Terracotta slip and glaze. Eguzkiñe Egaña Corta studied advertising and for more than 20 years has worked as a graphic designer. About 12 years ago, surrounded by a completely digital world, she felt the need to create with her hands and it is from there that she took up her drawings and illustrations and began to create with ceramics. She has completed a Master’s degree at the University of the Basque Country: “Ceramics; art and function” and combines her work as a designer and illustrator with contemporary artistic creation. She also teaches ceramics classes at the municipal school of Zarautz, a city in the Basque Country where she lives. She feels the need to explore the relationship between identity and self-knowledge. Work with the concepts; interior, exterior, return, connect, ancestral and artisanal, establishing a relationship between us and our environment, as well as between us and our ancestors, either emotionally, empathetically or through objects that somehow transport us to a hypothetical place in the past, both for its aesthetics and for the ways in which they have been created. Human beings are containers of desires, fears, expectations. Sometimes it is necessary to empty ourselves of everything that clutters the mind. On many occasions the artist works with turned containers...

Freaklab Trio Masks Made Entirely by Hand in Ceramic
Located in Modica, RG
This blue, green and brown eyes with a cross mouth Trio by Freaklab fully represents the meaning of his art and continuous research and the technique of majolica and terracotta. The cross mouth wants to be an impetus to freedom of expression and speech, without dogmas and restrictions. The open mouth and so 'wide from hope and strength in looking at her. The artist chose the name Freaklab because he has always created works tending towards the monstrous, the different, enriched by characterizing, exaggerated and disturbing elements, which make it inappropriately pleasant for contemplative and attentive observation. Freaklab Trio Palombari Made Entirely by Hand in Ceramic
Located in Modica, RG
The Palombari by Freaklab fully represent the meaning of his art and continuous research and the technique of majolica and terracotta. The trio of Palombari are respectively 35cm, 45cm and 50cm tall. Divers live in the submerged world, from what? from anything that does not give space to their desires, projects and rights. Their desire for freedom is evident from the folded bars. These Men and Women want to escape and have their say by expressing the freedom of their thoughts in their dreams. Birds are a very strong symbol of freedom and being 'under water' or in any other place where they don't feel comfortable, they want to find their dimension and their habitat. The artist chose the name Freaklab because he has always created works tending towards the monstrous, the different, enriched by characterizing, exaggerated and disturbing elements, which make it inappropriately pleasant for contemplative and attentive observation. From my island...
