Pair of Rusted Decorative Finials. End of 19th century.
This is a wonderful antique pair of rusted (fence) finials. Great as decoration on a desk, cabinet or table or usable as bookends.
Elegant and well proportioned quadrilateral shape with a square base and a ball top. Beautifully rusted and patinated over time. Therefore the charm of these finials comes as much from of the shape as from the patination. Great warm and earthy tones. Heavy quality and execution.
These come in a great vintage condition with a rusted surface.
