Cutout V05 - Contemporary Black Metal Sculptural Vase by Millim Studio
Located in Frascati, RM
Cutout is an aesthetic research on metal shapes that have been “cutted out” from other projects. The variable and free geometries, due to the previous processes, give the sign to each new piece. Abandoned forms come back to show themselves in a new life. No more matter in excess but form and essence. Cutout V05 is made off 4 mm sheet metal. The vase is no longer just a container for flowers but becomes a dynamic and harmonious sculpture. Each piece is made in Italy, welded and finished with care by master craftsmen. "We create experiences between art, communication, culture and design. We give value to research and time, creating unique and innovative processes. We explore the concept of beauty. We shape new visions. Form, matter and content, communicate each other evolving into new and contemporary...

Contemporary Mirror, Handcrafted, Solid Wood Gold Painted, Mahogany, Canaletto W
Located in Meolo, Venezia
“Because a reality wasn’t given to us and is not there; but we have to make it ourselves, if we want to be; and it will never be one for ever, but constant and infinitely changeable.” Luigi Pirandello – One, No One and One Hundred Thousand. Thanks to a particular interplay of points of view, when looking at Gengè – the furniture accessory designed by Matteo Vilardo and Marcello Marino per MEDULUM – it is only possible to scrutinise its image when looking from the right angle, while those looking from the outside will continue to see only the mask formed by the object. A collection of non-mirrors – at the same time highly unusual, spectacular and yet minimalist – which leads the observer to reflect on the topic of identity within contemporary society, spurring them not to stop their search for the masks which overlap between ourselves and reality. Thus, the ancient and extremely important...

These objets d’art by Canadian ceramicist Pascale Girardin use totemic motifs to emphasize the universal themes of identity that transcend place, culture and belief systems. For each piece, the artist hand-selects several stand-alone stoneware elements of different shapes, sizes and forms before assembling them into a single textural column. Customized for height in ivory, Egyptian-blue or cast-iron black, each totem is combined with gilded accents to produce a one-of-a-kind composition. PASCALE GIRARDIN is a Canadian ceramic artist whose work ranges from functional tableware to large-scale architectural installations. White Ceramic Sculptural Vase Italian Contemporary, 21st Century contemporary
Located in London, GB
"Composizione 40100 #11" (Maestoso con gioco), 2019, glazed earthenware, measures: H 41 x38 x 38cm Mix of hand-made and 3D printed - Unique piece Andrea Salvatori (Italy, 1975) is an internationally renowned visual artist working with the ceramic medium to realize often ironic and witty sculptures, sometimes involving a diverse selection of found objects, such as Murano glass vases, Meissen Porcelain miniatures or Ginori period ceramics sourced in flea markets around Europe. Salvatori’s works often begin with these items and proceed by the addition of elements masterfully created by the artist, generating an unexpected semantic shift. The result is unique, encompassing pop culture and kitsch aesthetics: a witty and effective way to turn reality upside-down and at the same time a powerful combination of exquisite craftsmanship and genuine irony. Andrea Salvatori was born on 3 of March 1975 in Faenza (Ra), Italy; he has graduated at the Istituto d’arte for Ceramic in Faenza in 1995, and he then graduated with a Degree in Sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Bologna in 2000. During his studies, Andrea learned the secrets of ceramics from the creative duo Bertozzi & Casoni having worked as an apprentice in their studio for many years at the same way as during Renaissance artists learned their practice with their Masters. Since 1997 he had several individual and collective exhibitions. In 2009 he won the first prize at the 56th edition of the prestigious Premio Faenza, the International Contest of Contemporary Art Ceramics, for which he classified second in the prior edition. In 2011 he classified second at the Sidney Myer Fund Australian Ceramic...
